The original contract was awarded in 1997.
This service and the relationship with Metronet Rail SSL (formerly InfraCo SSL) has grown to now cover over 96 stations and, more recently, Acorn Maintenance was awarded the 1st Line Rapid Response contract.
We have worked closely together with our client to establish methods and measures needed to minimise any financial penalties imposed due to services being unavailable. This has lead to Acorn Maintenance being one of the best performers within its category for completing works on time and with minimal disruption.
The contract demands a high level of customer awareness together with the exacting demands of QUENSH, which covers all aspects of Quality, Environment, Safety and Health. Acorn is regularly audited to ensure conformance with these standards which also ensures that Acorn Maintenance can comply to the highest standard.
